The Knoxville Bowling Squads opened their seasons at the Newton Invitational on Saturday. The boys rolled a team total 2,247 led by Keagan McCarty with a 366 series and a 207 high game. The girls shot a 2,073 with Lily Cieslak rolling a high game of 199 and a 363 series. Coach Shaun Renard tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he has a young team and he is looking forward to seeing how they improve through the season. The Panthers will bowl in their home opener next Saturday against Oskaloosa at Mustang Lanes in Monroe.
