The Indian government is seeking to appeal the London high court’s decision to block the extradition of Sanjay Bhandari, citing breaches of Articles 3 and 6 of the ECHR. They argue that the burden of proof issue is not a denial of justice and that they should have been allowed to provide more assurances about Bhandari’s treatment in Tihar jail.
