In Chambal, ex-dacoits' wives turn water warriors to battle drought

In Rajasthan’s Karauli, women have spearheaded a remarkable transformation, combating drought and dacoity. Facing declining rainfall and barren lands, they convinced their husbands to abandon crime and revive traditional water bodies. Through community efforts and the support of Tarun Bharat Sangh, they built ponds, revitalized the Serni river, and brought prosperity back to the region, fostering stability and hope.
