Karnataka BJP expels MLAs Somashekar, Hebbar for 6 years over 'anti-party' activities

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled two of its Karnataka MLAs, S T Somashekar and A Shivaram Hebbar, for six years due to alleged anti-party activities. State president B Y Vijayendra announced the decision after deliberations by the BJP high command. The expulsion letters cite repeated violations of party discipline and immediate removal from primary membership and party positions.
